Sàdj̼àm Se (/səd/ /j̼əm/ [hat] [general]) is a subtropical Town located in Undteyägd Hold, Sàsdāgíh Provence, within the Tauranian United Provinces.

The name Sàdj̼àm Se is derived from the Tauric language, as Sàdj̼àm Se was founded by Korlim Y̼ùco, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Sàdj̼àm Se has a yearly average temperature of 28°C (82°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 30°C (86°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 26°C (78°F). Sàdj̼àm Se receives an average of 298 cm/y (117 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Sàdj̼àm Se covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 1462 m (4796 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Sàdj̼àm Se was founded durring the early 13th century in spring of the year 1222, by Korlim Y̼ùco. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Korlim Y̼ùco.

Sàdj̼àm Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Sàdj̼àm Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Sàdj̼àm Se is buildings are located arround a single crampt cobblestone mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town is protected by a well-crafted cobblestone fence tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. The frontieer-style defences have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

Right off the bat Sàdj̼àm Se hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. This wealth has brought the town nothing but neurosis, if you can believe your eyes. Everyone acts as if you’re out to take a piece of them. Every door is locked and every window barred. Efforts are made to make you feel welcome, but only in the public areas of the town, particularly the market.

Civic Infrastructure

Sàdj̼àm Se has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Sàdj̼àm Se. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Sàdj̼àm Se's parks.

Sàdj̼àm Se has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Sàdj̼àm Se.

Architecture, local laws, and social customs are all tuned to suit them, and they may not be particularly forgiving or friendly to the major culture of the region. Communities that are not outright independent usually make an arm's-length submission to a local lord.

Sàdj̼àm Se's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is inspired by the natural world, characterized by sinuous, sculptural, organic shapes, arches, curving lines, and sensual ornamentation. Common motifs included stylized versions of leaves, flowers, vines, insects, animals, and other natural elements. Decorative elements found on the inside and outside of buildings include intricate mosaic work, curved windows, and decorative trim work. .
